About Vanessa Csordas-Jenkins
Vanessa Csordas-Jenkins attends New York University in New York City, where she studies theater history, dramatic literature, cinema, and psychology. She expects to graduate in 2014. In addition to excelling in academics, Vanessa Csordas-Jenkins has used her free time to take part in a diverse range of civic-minded and community-oriented activities. While in high school, she traveled to Solana Beach, California, where she volunteered at the Casa de Amistad, a center for academic encouragement and tutelage for students with Spanish as a primary language. Furthermore, in 2013 she volunteered at the prestigious New York-based Tribeca Film Festival, where she was responsible for coordinating audience awards and effectively marketing the annual event.
Before gaining acceptance to New York University, Vanessa Csordas-Jenkins attended Canyon Crest Academy in San Diego, California. While there, she participated as a member of the school’s award-winning student robotics team and immersed herself in the dramatic arts. She graduated from Canyon Crest Academy with a National Merit Scholarship and a Distinction Award as an AP Scholar.
