Salmonella Disease

Salmonella is a name of a group of bacteria. It is common disease that developing countries tend to get. Salmonella occurs mostly in meat and eggs ,but also fruit and veggies if its unwashed. Symptoms of getting Salmonella is fever, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, headache, possible nausea, etc. These symptoms usually last up to 4-7 days. Most people get better without treatment, but if it gets into you bloodstream, it can be serious.  The usual treatment is antibiotics.
