Tragedy of Romeo & Juliet
"Act II, Paris, Skyler Cho, Honors". Curse on Montague’s family! How dare they come to the feast of Capulet? Are they mad? I should have asked Tybalt to crush that little boy, Romeo. I didn’t know that Romeo was flirting with Juliet until I left the party, but next time, he’ll end up laying in a tomb. It’s a message from heaven, God blindfolded me at Capulet’s house, for nobody wants blood shed in such a meaningful feast. Is Juliet in love with Romeo? Zounds, I’m becoming mad! What made me think that “love” can exist between the two families, between enmity and repugnance, and why am I overestimating Romeo so much to consider him as a contender of my love? (hears Juliet’s voice at balcony) Who is Juliet talking to at this dark time? (recognize that it’s Romeo) Oh my god, is Juliet really in love with a Capulet? Does her father know about this banned love? If not, then I should tell him about this. Wait… will Capulet see this as an opportunity to change the hatred between the two families and allow them to marry? I should better keep this to myself and pretend like I know nothing. Lastly Romeo, you will face tragedy before you marry Juliet, for you only love with your eyes, not with your heart.
