Tone is written composition, is an attitude of a writer toward a subject or an audience. Tone is generally conveyed through the choice of words or the view point of a writer on a particular subject.
The Giving Tree
The tone of the poem, The Giving Tree was super nice and giving and had a lot of respect for the boy. The tree gave tree gave the boy apples and limps to build his house then he came back for her trunk to build a boat and then came back older each time and the last time he came back was to sit down and rest. so the tone was great between the boy and tree they both loved each other. and they both ended up happy as can be.
the tone of this story was serious and clear. there was a father and son going hunting and spending time together and bonding. and they would hide from the women cause they didn't like hunting or little children going hunting and shooting or hearing guns. the tone about this story was serious about hunting and focusing on the birds and the child was amused of the birds and the sounds and the experience.
Coyote vs. Acme
the tone in this story is cheerful, funny and playful. it is a cartoon and the road runner would play games with the wolf. and they played and played with actions and traps and weapons. and the road runner would always wins the battle and the wolf always gets trapped and almost died. and it made a lot of sound effects to make the story funny and interesting. the road runner would always set the wolf up in a trap and he would always fall for it and beat him in every attempt.
