Modern day cat’s today are domestic
In 1983 on Island of Cyprus an Archaeologists found a cat’s jawbone dating back to 8,000 years ago now archaeologists unlikely thought that Humans would bring a wild cat over to the island. But a wild cat and a domestic cat have the same bone structure so the archaeologists couldn’t tell. Now in 2004 and even older site at Cyprus there was a cat deliberately buried with a human and it made it more certain that the island’s ancient cat was domestic and it pushed the domestication date back another 1,500 years and if your wondering what domestic means it means The domestic cat is a small, usually furry, domesticated, and carnivorous mammal. It is often called the house cat when kept as an indoor pet, or simply the cat when there is no need to distinguish it from other felids and felines.
Cats are very domestic thats why they are called house cats humans thought that they were dangerous but when the first cat came along it would come with the humans to the religion center where they worshiped animals including cats.
The Modern day cat's name is a Felis Catus, The life span of a modern day cat is 12-14 years. Gestation period is when a cat is pregnent and they stay pregnent for about 64-67 days. Modern day cats get a lot of sleep they sleep to about 12 to 16 hours
It is noteworthy that the ancestors of the other common household pet, the dog, were social animals that lived together in packs in which there was subordination to a leader, and the dog has readily transferred its allegiance from pack leader to human master. The cat, however, has not yielded as readily to subjugation. Consequently, the house cat is able to revert to complete self-reliance more quickly and more successfully than most domesticated dogs.
