The Cat
In
The Hat

By Dr. Seus

Summary

The Cat in the Hat is about a cat wearing a red hat, who came to two kids on a rainy day who were really bored. He promised to help them have a lot of fun and made a huge mess and their fish was telling the cat to go and that his fun was not fun at all. The cat made a huge mess in the house by showing them his cool games and tricks he balanced many things on hime a cup and a cake a boat, and other things all while he stood on a ball. This trick ended with all the stuff he was holding crashing to the ground. then he brought a red box and he said that contained two things thing one and thing two. he opened the box and the things left the box and they started wrecking the house then the kids didn't like this at all and the boy got his net and caught the things and put them back in the box. then their mom came home and the kids were worried about the mess and the cat got the thinga-majiger to clean up all the mess before their mom got inside.

      My Implication

My implication is that procrastination is a bad, and can be stressful. In the story the cat took a long time to clean up the mess and that made the kids stressed when their mom got home, because they were worried what their mom would say about the mess.

I agree that procrastination is a bad thing because, say for example, our extra credit in Ms. Hall's class. Say you wanted to do that and wanted to get all 120 points, but waited until the weekend before. Do you really think you're going to get all the points available for that project? Same with studying for a big test. You can't wait until the night before, because cramming everything in your head in an hour or two isn't going to help you remember it.

I procrastinate all the time because I don't want to do my homework. (I still do it) I like your implication about procrastination. It relates to me well! You're right about procrastination being stressful. When you put something off for a long time, and you decided to do it the day before, you will rush.

I agree with your implication, I used to procrastinate on doing my homework. Then I get stressed at school when everyone i turning it in but me. I think that if you go ahead and get something done you wont have to worry about it later.

I am the same as Caitlyn sometimes... when I have free time in school, I'm like, whatever, I'll do it later. I end up staying awake until really late, and sometimes not finishing homework.

You may have only put one implication, but I really liked it and I think you did well and also we should always watch where we go to an extent on things and never go to far and not be able to find your way back. (Don't make to much of a mess or you will not be able to clean it up.)

I agree with your implication of procrastination being stressful and bad. If you procrastinate on work, not only do you get stressed out, but you will not like the final product or the grade you'll get.

I do my work on time though, and don't play games at all while doing it, even though people try to frame me and say hit him with a diamond sword.

I agree with your implication about procrastination and that it can be very stressing. One time I left a project to the day before it was due and I stayed up like until 1:30 in the morning and at one point I was so stressed I couldn't even think anymore.
