Pocahontas Area High School dominates business day

On Wednesday April 8th a group of Pocahontas Area High School students competed at Iowa Central Community College competition day.  The students participated in competitions in the fields of Business, Industrial Tech, Ag, FCS, and Health.  PAC had students that placed in the following categories:

Computer Objective: Jesse O'tool- 5th

Human Relations: Amanda VonDoltren- 1st

Job Seeking Skills: Autumn Seiler- 5th

Marksmanship: Devon Weidauer- 1st

History of Law Enforcement: Tyler Case- 3rd, Janie Brinkman- 5th

Hospitality: Hannah Boysen- 1st, Tyler Case- 3rd

Health Team: Taylor Thomas, Caleb Betten, Jessica McQuiggan, and Bethany Manley- 4th

Precision Measurement: Ashley Peterson- 1st

Accounting: Nick Wiemers- 1st, Kate Vonnahme- 2nd, Dan Proctor- 3rd, Devon Weidauer- 4th, Aaron Aljets- 5th, Tanner Youngberg- 6th, and Rose Meyer- 7th
