A water wheel during the industrial revolution.

                The industrial revolution meant a lot of things to everyone living in america, but improvement describes the whole period of time. Before the industrial revolution cloth was very hard to make. Every piece of cloth was made by hand and took a very long time. Most people did not have many clothes because it took so long. During the industrial revolution a inventor made a machine that could make cloth faster and easier without doing it all by hand. Also transportation was improved. Roads and railways were built and improved. People started to use coal and water wheel powered machines which really improved how Americans made products. The industrial revolution was a major improvement in the American way of life.
