Well that's a problem that can be fixed. Come live in the Southern Colonies, where there is plenty of peaceful sunshine! The sun will always turn a frown upside down! The sun makes the Southern Colonies warm and inviting in the summer. In the winter, the weather is mild. So not too cold, but the perfect winter weather! This weather is perfect for growing crops. The plants will thrive for the longest period of time.
Are you always afraid that your crops won't have enough time to grow? That they won't even grow at all?
Those aren't problems here! The Southern Colonies have the longest growing season! There is plenty of time to grow the crops you love! Not only is the growing season longer, the soil is also very rich! This means that you can grow all sorts of crops in the Southern Colonies. Why would you want to live in the New England Colonies, or Middle Colonies, where the soil is poor, or just ok? You should live in the Southern Colonies where the soil is rich, and where your crops will grow the longest! People from the Southern Colonies do a lot of farming. The main crops that are grown here are tobacco, cotton, rice, and indigo. So if you like to farm, than the Southern Colonies is the perfect region for you! If you don't like to farm, don't worry, there is still plenty of ways to make money or have fun!
Having more time to grow crops means having more time to earn money! Also, having rich soil makes better crops, which produces more money!
Encyclopedia.com states, "Among the mainland colonies, the white southerners were the richest, on average, with about twice the wealth of New England or the Middle Atlantic region." This shows that the Southern Colonies are the richest. Most definitely the first-class! Farming is the main economy for the Southern Colonies, and the Southern Colonies are the best places to farm. They make a lot of money from selling crops. Tobacco is the main cash crop, and makes lots of money, but let's not forget about cotton, rice, and indigo! Even though farming is the main industry for the Southern Colonies, there are still other ways they make money. They also sell timber and naval supplies. So if you want to make some money, there are plenty of ways to do it in the Southern Colonies.
