Manichaeism, founded in Persia, teaches dualism and is considered a Christian heresy.
Manichaeism tells of the fight between good and evil, and that the good of the earth slowly returns itself to where is came from, while the evil remains.
The Manichaeism's view on the body is that the body itself is part of the 'dark earth', and that the soul was the only good part of a person. This religion also believes that in death your soul could escape your evil and dark body.
The Catholic Church dismisses Manichaeism as a heresy because they believe that the body is evil and their teaching of dualism.
