DESCRIPTION

The Tasmanian Devil are mostly black but usually have white  markings on there chest . The adult males are  usually bigger than the females . They are about 30 centimetres high at the shoulder and the maximum weight is twelve  kilograms.

HABITAT

The Tasmanian Devils are in the Tasmania caves and thick bushes.

BIOME

The Tasmanian Devils biome is the bushland or the Temperate Forests.

INTERESTING FACTS

The European settlers of Hobart didn't like the Tasmanian Devil because they ate their chickens and they thought that they would eat the other animals too. So they decided to hunt them and kill them. In 1830 the Van Diemen's Land Company put up a reward of twenty-five cents for a male and thirty-five cents for a female, but now all that's against the law.

The Tasmanian Devil eats insects,wombats,kangaroos, fish, birds and sheep.

BIOLOGICAL RELATIONSHIP

If animals were not around the tasmanian devil would die of starvation.

LIFE CYCLE

The tasmanian devil starts off as a pup in its mothers pouch then after it comes out of the pouch and becomes juvenile. When it turns one year old it starts to become a  teenager and when its two it becomes an adult.
