How to be greener.

1.- Before you throw something away, think about if someone else might need it. You can donate it to a charitable organization or reuse it.

2.- Go to a vegetarian restaurant (or make the vegetarian food yourself) once a week. One less meat-based meal a week helps the planet and your diet.

3.- Consider buying items from a second-hand store. You do good to the nature, and to your pocket.

4.- Plant a tree. It's good for you, the air and the land.

5.- Take a shorter shower. Water is a limited resource.

6.- Recycle newspaper. Recycling just the Sunday papers would save more than half a million trees every week.

7.- Always turn off the light when you leave a room. It helps the planet and you don't spend unnecesary money on light.

8.- Buy to local and ecologic farmers or locl markets. It use be a little more expensive, but it worth it.

9.- Batteries are very toxic. If you need to use them, choose rechargeable batteries.

10.- You don't need the car to go everywhere. When it's possible, go walking or in bike.
