Red Bull "Stratos" Project

In this videos you see the impact that redbull had on this man and the world. Not wanting things for themselves but for their community.

The Red Bull "Stratos" Project is NOT an advertisement campaign. It is a project to get a man who wanted to achieve something greater to be able to. Felix Baumgartner an Austrian skydiver wanted to break records and set standards. With the help of Red Bull, he was able to.

"Red Bull Really Does Give You Wings"

The Cold Hard Facts

Fortunately the dreams and goals of Felix were not the only ones accomplished, because...

Red Bull's sales increased by 7%

Cans sold increased by 3%

Felix broke and set 5 new records.

Companies such as Apple, and Google followed in Red Bull's footsteps.

I have never seen an advertisement for a beverage take the risk to reach so far to connect with their audience. Most drink commercials just show people drinking their product, but red bull really stood out with creating this project.

Having a story rather than an advertisement will take this company far. To bring this back, find more people with stories to tie red bull more to the world.

Red Bull could do a promotion where they do another jump but fans can follow the jump live and each view the stream gets then a can gets given away

If I was on the marketing team for this brand, I would launch a campaign to try to get others to reach their goal by creating a contest by hashtaging on certain social media sights and sending a video to the evaluators. That way, certain people can try to achieve their dreams in an unexpected way by also promoting the company. -Shannon Will

It would've been cool if he had images of wings on his jacket but the jump was really cool, an idea could be to sell t shirts and other merchandise of the jump and to have people tweet out or use social media to show they witnessed the jump to promote the company but all in all it motivates people to want to be bigger than life heroes and drink red bull!

If I was on the marketing team for this brand, I would create a hashtag that went along with this campaign so that people would be inspired to share their stories on social media.

It's cool that they can actually back up their slogan "gives you wings" by doing this event and now more people want to live adventurously

This campaign creates a very good image of this company because it wants to help someone achieve their goal. When people think about red bull in the future, they will be able to connect red bull to this story.

I think this brand really promotes red bull well! The only thing I would do differently is add a hashtag or some kind of ad wall to get a little more in touch with there customers. To inspire Red Bull flavors. -Lindsay Projansky
