Computer Graphics and Animation
In session 1, we created our own video using stop-motion animation. We used the move able figures to do this. We put them in different positions and took pictures and then turned it into a video.
In session 3, we used a webcam to take two pictures. We morphed the pictures together.
In session 3, we began creating an animated movie. We inserted primitive objects into an empty scene. Then, we adjusted the shapes to create a jack-in-the-box.
In session 4 we continued to make our animated movie. We learned how to apply color to the objects, called shade. Then we used the story board to apply movement to the objects. Then we test rendered the animation.
In session 5, we continued working on our animated movie. We learned how to use modifiers to give Jack movement. Then we added more objects to our animation. Then we test rendered it again.
In session 6, we created a 3-D logo. Then, we added movement to the logo. And after that, we rendered the logo. We then began making our final animation project.
In session 7, we completed our storyboard design of our final animation project. Then we finished construction our 3-D animation.
Career in Computer Graphics and Animation
A career in Computer Graphics and Animation is an animator. An animator are people who create cartoons. They use the computer software to create different scenes and characters and then they render then, making them animated. Animators use the software to create drawings with shapes, lines, etc. Then, they add color to the drawings by using shading. Then, they add animations to the drawing, then test rendering it to see if it animates properly.
Animators create animated movies and cartoons. Some examples of animated films are Lion King, Despicable Me, The Last Unicorn, Frozen, and Wreck-It-Ralph.
