Summer in a nutshell.
Baseball. Baseball. Baseball. Summer consisted of going to lots and lots and lots of baseball for my little brother. We went to a lot of different places and watched a lot of baseball.
Our first couple events as a new basketball team. We had a lot of changes throughout the summer. With a new coach a lot changes but when you come together as a team you can keep a lot of old traditions. Our last set of scrimmages was for the UD camp. We got to play on the court. It was a lot of fun and a great experience.
My mom runs the ice cream booth for the Fenwick festival and this year I worked the booth a lot! I had just dislocated my hip and wasn't allowed to walk around the festival so all I really could do was work. Though it kind of sucked that I couldn't walk around I got some of my friends to work with me.
My mom makes cakes all the time. This summer i decided to start to help her and I fell in love with baking. I love baking with my mom and loved making cupcakes for the fourth of July!
My best friend's mom is a babysitter and they have a pool. All the little girls always have to use floaties to swim and they all hate it. One day we decided we were going to take them all one at a time and teach the how to swim a little bit. It was a lot of fun and now some of them actually can swim!
We went on a trip to Strongsville, OH for a soccer tournament this year. ON the way home we all stopped a panera as a team. The trip was really fun and we all bonded really well. I love going on overnight trips as a team and panera was a great way to end it.
For my best friends birthday we went to Biuld-a-Bear and made Bears. It was a lot of fun and made us feel like little kids again!
We had to go to a viewing as a team for a girl that used to be on our team's dad. Though hit was really really sad it was really nice to come together as a team and for her family.
As a soccer team we all hung out a lot this summer. We had a lot of bonfires and went swimming. We are really close now and we all our really good friends. Bonding as a team is really important and we did it a lot.
For my grandmas birthday we went to the Cincinnati Red's game. My whole family went, all my aunts and uncles and cousins. My great aunt went too! It was a lot of fun because we got to spend a lot of time together as a family. I love spending time with my family and it was a GREAT way to end my summer.
