Hypothesis #1

If the Christmas lights are arranged in a parallel circuit, then when 1 bulb is removed the others will continue to light up.

During my observation I saw that even that all the lights were very bright and the electrons were moving at an average pace.

In my observation I saw that even though I took out one of then lights away, the other two lights continued to stay bright. Even when one light bulb had been taken away.

Hypothesis #2

If  the Christmas lights are arranged in a series circuit, then when 1 bulb is removed the other bulbs will not light up

When I first started the lights were not very bright and the electrons were not moving very fast.

After I had done the experiment I saw that once   took away one of the light bulbs, the circuit instantly stopped working.

During my experiment I saw that the parallel circuit was better. Even if it had one bulb gone you it would still light up the same. Whereas if you took away one bulb away from the series circuit, then the entire thing would stop working. So in conclusion, if younger buying Christmas lights you would want to buy the package that is step up using a parallel circuit, because even if one bulb is not good then you could keep the strand.
