When you go to take a drink or smoke a cigarette you don’t think about to harm it will do to your body or how it can make you addicted and what that can do to the people around you, you just think this will be fun then just do it, and that’s all that you think about because if you did think about how smoking weed can raise your heart rate to two maybe three times the speed it was for as long as three hours and how that can cause a heart attack because if you did I bet you would think twice and say no to it.
What if I told you it only takes one time to get addicted or if it took that one time you thought I will just try it to kill you 22% of inhalant abusers who died of Sudden Sniffing Death Syndrome had no history of previous inhalant abuse—they were first-time users. Does that make you think again?
What about ur family how could your substance abuse affect them? Well say you don’t have the money to feed your addiction because your still a teen (CBS News reports that a recent survey indicates approximately two million teens between the ages of 12 and 17 currently need treatment for a substance abuse problem, but only about 150,000 get the help they need.) so you ask your parents and you say it’s to go shopping and when you come back and you don’t have any bags what are they going to think they might lose trust for you or maybe they stop giving you money so what do you do then you steel stuff form them of ur friends anything you can get your hands on and pawn it well soon they notice their stuff is missing and file a police report, later the police find it at a local pawn shop and was sold to them under your name what do you do then? You don’t know so you get frustrated and when you get frustrated and stressed out what do you do you go get high well when you come off that high a reality settles back in and you realize you parents kicked you out and you have no place to go so you get mad and get high again but its not as great as it was the first time was it because each time you get high all your doing is chasing the first high so then you get bored so you want to try something new. Alcohol! Well like drugs I bet you didn’t think about the consequences about that like that drinking is a major cause of the 25% increase in deaths from liver disease in England over the last decade (from 9,231 in 2001 to 11,575 in 2009).
I hope you would take any of this information into consideration before yousmoke of drink.
