Type 1 diabetes
Billy Sotos, Steven Ngo, and Simon Choate
Type 1 diabetes is A disorder of the metabolism causing excessive thirst and the production of large amounts of urine.
Type 1 diabetes is caused because the body no longer makes insulin because the body's own immune system has attacked and destroyed the cells where insulin is made. Some symptoms of type 1 diabetes is frequent urination, unusual thirst, extreme hunger, unusual weight loss, dehydration, and Extreme fatigue and Irritability. When your body starts losing insulin you take insulin shots which are timed with meals and snacks. Also if you have type 1 diabetes you need to prick your finger to check your sugar.
I think me and my group all had the same amount of work done. Simon was the timekeeper/record keeper, Steven was the fact checker/researcher, and Me Billy was the creative editor-in-chief. This project was very fun and all of us enjoyed working on it.
