Mayan

The Mayan people began to settle in the Yucatan area between 2600 BC and 1800 BC, which is now southern Mexico, Guatemala, western Honduras, El Salvador, and northern Belize. The Mayan were highly architecture they built temple pyramids, palaces, and observatories without tools. They developed the long distance trade and they built the most famous Mayan pyramids. The most famous pyramid in latin america is called the pyramid of the sun, it's located in Teotuhuacan, Mexico which is the photo above. There's a other pyramid called the pyramid of the moon which is couple separated from the pyramid of the sun.  The stairway of the pyramid of the moon theres sculptures of the snake Quetzalcoatl. They said that the pyramid of the moon people would sacrificed in the ceremony to honor it.
