The Colonies Names
Farming is excellent in the middle colonies because the soil is very rich. The middle colonies climate is mild which also helps farming.
Many grains are harvested and exported. The "breadbasket" of all colonies. The live stock is horses, cattle, pigs and sheep.
Shipbuilding: Philadelphia has for shipyards. The shipwrights built both small boats and large sailing boats.
Marketplace: Farmers sold fruit, vegetables, grains, meat, eggs,and freshly made cheese and butter. Merchants sold lumber, furs, and tobacco. Fishermen sold seafood. Indians also came to the market, they sold corn, beans, squash, and pumpkins.
