Novitec Unveils 605-HP Maserati Quattroporte

Novitec Rosso handles Ferraris. Novitec Torado deals with Lamborghinis. And Novitec Tridente is the division devoted to Maserati. The latter’s latest creation is based on the Quattroporte, which has received a comprehensive makeover. A range of performance kits are on offer for the performance sedan, culminating in the top-of-the-line 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 in the GTS that gets boosted to 605 hp and 605 lb-ft of torque. The result is a new 0-62 mph time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 198 mph.

The V6-powered Quattroporte S is upped to 476 hp and 472 lb-ft of torque, enabling the all-wheel-drive luxury sedan to hit 62 mph in 4.5 seconds, while the V6 turbo-diesel now generates 322 hp and 502 lb-ft of torque, cutting the 0-62 mph time by seven tenths to 5.7 seconds. Clear-coated carbon-fiber aerodynamic body parts add some style to match the four-door’s new substance. Up front, there’s a new two-piece spoiler, new rocker panels affords the sedan a lower, sleeker stance, while the rear end gets a sporty lip spoiler. New 22-inch five double-spoke alloys are available in a range of hues, while an adjustable sports suspension is offered with RWD models and sports springs lowers AWD models by 35 mm.
