Sound energy is produced when an object vibrates. The sound vibrations cause waves of pressure that travel through a medium, such as air, water, wood or metal. Sound energy is a form of mechanical energy.Like this person playing the guitar.
Chemical energy is stored in the chemical bonds of atoms and molecules. It can only be seen when it is released in a chemical reaction. When chemical energy is released, the substance from which the energy came is sometimes changed into a different substance.Like this battery producing electricty.
Heat energy is the word that we use to describe the level of activity for the molecules in an object. An object with molecules that are very excited and zip around rapidly is hot, while an object with molecules whose atoms move around less rapidly is cold. Fire has molecules that zip around that's why its so hot.
Electrical energy is energy that is caused by moving electric charges. Since the electric charges are moving, this is a form of kinetic energy. The faster the electric charges are moving the more electrical energy they carry.Like lighting striking the ground with eletric chrages.
