Wayne Effron Practices Family Law in Greenwich, Connecticut
A family law and divorce attorney in Greenwich, Connecticut, Wayne Effron has managed his own law practice since 1979. Together with fellow attorneys Reuben S. Midler and Anthony L. Cenatiempo, Wayne Effron litigates divorce and child custody cases and negotiates and drafts prenuptial agreements.
After graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor of arts, Wayne Effron attended the University of Connecticut School of Law, graduating with honors in 1977. In addition to the courts in Connecticut, he has been admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and several U.S. district courts.
A former adjunct professor of law at the Pace University School of Law, Effron has authored several portions of the Connecticut Practice Book and has also written for several trade publications, such as the Connecticut Family Law Journal and Connecticut Family Lawyer. He was named one of “The Best Lawyers in America” every year since 1995 and received “Best Lawyer” and “Superlawyer” awards from New York magazine, Westchester magazine, and Connecticut magazine.
