HOW DID QUARTZ GET ITS NAME
Quarts got its name is from the German word quartz from the German ancestor Twark meaning hard. Other resources say that it's name is atributed to the Saxon word Querklufterz meaning "cross-vein ore."

HOW WAS QUARTZ FORMED
I think my rock was formed in a cave. I think it had three rocks pressed aginsed it to make the point at the top of the rock.then an arcealogiest came and started hitting the rocks with a chisel and that is why my rock is bumpy.
