Wedding Planner would be responsible for booking and planning weddings, including corporate and pre-wedding events, and management of the event day. Responsibilities include event marketing, customer relations, event coordination, vendor relations, sales, and event set-up. The event set-up may include moving of furniture (chairs, tables, etc.,) light cleaning, inventory management, audio/visual technology setup features, etc.
Additional Skills Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong writing skills and communication skills are a must. The ability to professionally communicate with business professionals and wedding participants is required. You must be able to lift and handle 30lbs.
Bonus Skills Desired: A passion for leadership development. Creative design background with experience in set decoration, floral arrangements, and/or catering. Proficiency in Adobe creative suite. Strong marketing skills with Customer Relationship Management software and social media.
Typical Hours: Hours vary depending on event booking schedule. Non-event hours enable flexible schedule. Event hours are non-flexible. There will be work requirements on some night and weekends.

When cut down, a plastic bottle can hold flowers in water in non-watertight containers.
A floral foam block and tray provides a good base for medium-sized floral foam arrangements. Cut and trim soaked floral foam with a craft knife, which can also be used to condition flowers.
Shears are used to trim and split woody-stemmed foliage and thick-stemmed flowers, while florist's scissors are ideal for conditioning and trimming flowers and thin-stemmed foliage.
Chicken wire can be molded to fit in an opaque vase or container to hold the stems of an arrangement in place.
