Now it is time to THINK.

  • Try to solve a problem on the KenKen app.  Kenken are puzzles.  You solve them by putting numbers into a grid.  Here is a 30hands video I made to explain how to solve the KenKen puzzles.
  • Solve several puzzles.
  • Evaluate this app.

Programming Part 1

  • Computers and iPads only do exactly what you tell them to do.  Telling computers what to do is called programming.
  • Today you will do some fun programming.  Use Daisy the Dino.
  • Challenge #1:  make Daisy walk to the sun.
  • Challenge #2:  make Daisy walk forward to the sun, turn around and walk back to the starting point.
  • Challenge #3  make Daisy walk forward to the sun then backward to the starting point.
  • Challenge #4:  make Daisy jump 3 times, then turn 2 times then walk 5 times then grow.
  • Evaluate this app.
