Why I am Julia!
This is my best friend Marli. We met in 2nd Grade and have been best friends ever since. Shes the first person I call and I know she has my back. She has changed my life and shaped who I am today because there has been so many difficult times when I needed a friend and she was the first person who was their. Its extremely hard because we go to different schools, but we've learned to never loose our friendship over these years. Shes is one of strongest people I know. I am truly blessed to have such an amazing person in my life. I am so grateful for her because she has impacted my life in such a positive way and I don't know what I would do without her.
This is the day I got my license. This shaped me because now I am more independent and have many more responsibilities. I think getting my license is awesome of course, but now I really have to be careful and more aware of my surroundings. This impacted my life is a huge way because now I have more freedom, but also more priorities.
St. Eugenes was a huge part in my changing and growing up as a child into a teenage girl. I think it made me who I am today by showing me how to do things with and in God. St. Eugene's gave me challenges t overcome, but showed me how to do it with Jesus. This is where I made life long friendships and many memories I will never forget and will cherish for the rest of my life.
This is the day my whole life changed forever. About a year and six months ago, I tore my ACL going up for a layup while playing basketball. This event practically ruined my life and made it better in some ways. While everyone was getting better, I had to sit and watch and recover myself. This was one of the most challenging experiences i have ever had to dealt with. It made me realize that I could do anything if I put my mind to it. It impacts my life by me having to overcome obstacles and faced many challenges through it all. Looking back to it, there is not one thing I ovule done to change what had happened. I am better and quicker than ever and I am proud of all that I have accomplished over this past year. Yeah, it really sucked an I was sad like all the time, but I persevered through it and it made me so strong that is what really shaped me as a person.
Every single person in this picture are my closet friends and who I can say will have my back. All of these amazing people have made me cry, made me laugh, made me a better person, and made me who I am today. Ive known some of them since I was 9 and some I met 2 years ago, but in that time I have made a bond with each and everyone of them that I know will last forever. We have the craziest times together an I am so lucky to have such important people in my life who have made such a happy impact to my everyday life.
This man right here is the reason why I play basketball. He has taught me everything I need to know about basketball and about life. His name is Steve Acevedo. He was my coach from third grade up to seventh grade for AAU. He has influenced my life by making me realize and learn thing I would have never known or even wanted to know. He is my hero. He si the biggest role model for basketball I had growing up and he is the reason I am good. He gave me so much passion for the game, that I will never lose. He shaped me as a person by making me tough. He gave me tough love, which was hard at times but I am so thankful for my strength he gave me and all the tools he gave me to have for the rest of my life
Meg Bianchi is one of my besets friends. She is right by my side whenever and however I need her. We may fight, but we are always close in the end. She is like a sister to me and she has shaped me by introducing me to new things and showing me different ways to be a better person. I am so lucky to have her in my life since freshmen year when we met in music class. She truly is such a caring person and would do anything for others which I wish I was more like. Her lifestyle of living is truly inspirationally and I hope it rubs off on me.
