Chief Technology Officer William Cork
William Cork currently serves as the chief technology officer in the medical device division at Fresenius Kabi. In this position, he is tasked with the development of various new technology platforms. William Cork previously spent three years in the same role with Fenwal, Inc., in Lake Zurich, Illinois, before Fresenius Kabi acquired the company in 2012. During his time with Fenwal, Mr. Cork developed the Amicus platform, along with a number of additional inventions and products. His role at Fenwal also involved the management of all research and development activities within the division. Between 2001 and 2009, he served as the chief technology officer for Nanosphere in Northbrook, Illinois.
As an inventor and product development professional, William Cork holds more than 25 patents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to launching his career, he studied electrical engineering and biomedical engineering at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. When he is not working, he enjoys woodworking and photography.
