A graduate of Providence College, William Timlen earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy before beginning his career. For more than 16 years, he has been providing high-quality public accounting services to clients in the New York area. He is especially experienced in advising clients on the tax aspects of loss regulations and partnerships, helping high-net-worth clients with investment and tax matters, and providing operational tax planning to real estate developers and owners. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, William Timlen currently serves as a principal at Friedman, LLP. He focuses much of his practice on handling the tax aspects of residential and commercial real estate development and ownership.
In his free time, William Timlen enjoys staying active through weight training, running, and playing baseball, football, and basketball. He played men’s division I baseball while in college and was scouted by the New York Mets out of high school. Beyond playing sports, he enjoys watching baseball and football, and is a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles. Also interested in travel, he has been to locations both domestic and abroad, including Maine and Spain.
