These are some facts about the Northeast Region.
Land And Water
This is a land of broad valleys, rolling hills, and low mountains. The Appalachian Mountains go from Maine to Alabama in the Southwest. The Appalachian Mountains stretch from Maine in the northeast to Alabama in the southeast. The Appalachian Mountains are made up of a couple different mountains. The ranges are the Allegheny Mountains, the Pocono Mountains, the Adirondack Mountains and the Catskills. The longest hiking trail is the Appalachian trail. It goes from Maine to Georgia, along the spine of the mountain range.
