The 38th annual Stepping Out in Style Fashion Show, presented by the Women's Board of the Baptist Health Care Foundation, will be held Oct. 16at New World Landing in Pensacola.
Last year's event raised $76,285, which was dedicated to the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab at Baptist Hospital. This year's event proceeds will support the Palliative Care program at Baptist Hospital.
A change to this year's event will be the fashions, which will highlight local boutiques — Bluetique, Duh, Indigeaux Denim Bar & Boutique, and The Market and Mainly Shoes — allowing each store to have a segment of the show dedicated to their fashions.

"We have received a great response from the community in regard to this change," says Heather Moorer, the Development Director at Baptist Health Care.
This year's Premier sponsor will be Gulf Coast Health Care, "who is very active in supporting the Pensacola community," Moorer says.
In addition to Gulf Coast Health Care, other sponsors are working with Baptist Health Care to offset the cost of hosting such a large event, including Highpointe Hotel Corporation which is trading rooms to house the professional models in exchange for sponsorship recognition.
The show will be produced by fashion show coordinators and stylists, Melissa and Victoria Melvin, who are responsible for many successful events across the country each year.
By bringing in professional lighting, elaborate stage set-ups and quality sound, along with professional and local celebrity models, the stage will be set for an extravaganza of fashion.
"We feel like having professionals showcase the fashions is what sets us apart from other shows in the area," says Women's Board President Kim Lien, who notes that the board works together "to hammer out every detail of the show" in terms of sponsorships and attendance, while leaving fashion in the Melvins' hands.
In addition to the local celebrities on stage in the show, WEAR Channel 3 news anchor Sue Straughn will emcee, and Cat Country radio personality Brent Lane will lead the live auction.
