Maverick Message

Dear Parents:

Welcome March! I hope that March brings us much warmer weather and more time at school. As of right now, I am hoping that the threat for more winter weather just goes away for this week. It was "snow" much fun last week, but it is time to move on! As I stated in my School Messenger e-mail to you on Thursday, thanks so much for all of the snow pictures that you sent me. I was totally blown away by the participation. I LOVED seeing your children at home and in the community enjoying the day. There are a few more pictures below that did not make it to the Flipagram. Congrats to Owen Clardy. His snowman came in at 12 ft and 6 inches. Congrats to Milind Brijesh, Payton, Carter, and Parker Matherne for building the most creative snowmen. It was such hard decision...there were so many deserving snowmen!

This weekend our math team placed 3rd in the Pizitz Math Tournament. Our Chess Team placed 3rd in the Bishop's Bash K-6 division. Alex Lee came in 3rd in the K-3 individual rankings. I am so proud of these students and their hard work.

See below for our "Celebrate Seuss" school events. There are a few Skype events planned in order to connect with others outside the four walls of our school. Crazy hair day is definitely a hit today.   I know that many teachers have special events planned for the week as well.

I look forward to another amazing week being a Maverick!
