2014-2015

I work from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m I come home around 4, I just didn't have the time to go running. Yesterday I reluctantly decided to go for a run but afterwards it felt great!! It may not be much but the effort matters. My fellow teammates please make the time to run, I understand we all have work and summer assignments, a life. However we are WP XC runners, on our first meeting we made the commitment to achieve our individual goals and team goals. You will not be sabotaged by our coaches if you don't run an "x" amount of miles or if you don't come to team runs but we are a team, we are all counting on one another.

WEEK 7 of training! I hope you are all doing terrific. I am glad to see runners come out on team runs on Monday or Thursday. If you can't make it to a team run then make sure you go running on your own time. If you haven't had the time (like me) then make a commitment to yourself about running at least an x amount of times per week and a certain time. For those of you who haven't ran as much as you planned let's make a commitment to all run at 6:30 p.m. or 7pm. I know we are all in different locations but knowing that you're running at the same as me or anyone else on the team gives us the extra push. Run at the same time as a friend, you don't have to be at the same location!

Good afternoon team, congrats for those of you who made it through week 1 of training, don't forget to post your miles on Edmodo. Pair up with a teammate, don't get discouraged with your total miles, you have the whole summer to run, with time you will progress. It takes EXTRAORDINARY people (YOU) to do EXTRAORDINARY  things, let's make it happen.
