The Dove campaign asked women about what attributes already make them beautiful. The campaign was launched to show real beauty which was a unique approach compared to the competing brands. The objective is to show outer beauty in its natural ways, no matter what shape, color, height, size, weight, etc.
Reevaluate how you view yourself
This visual demonstrates the confidence women and girl's should have about themselves and their bodies, no matter what they look like. They have come to a self realization of beauty, they are putting their bodies out there, and have found a new sense of confidence.
Connects to the public
Many famous stars such as Beyonce showed their natural beauty by releasing makeup less selfies. Beyonce's confidence showed all of their fans to embrace their inner beauty, and break out of your comfort zone.
Changing the future of campaigns
Dove changed the conversation in advertising being one of the few that strived to advance the cause. Like dove, Always joined the fight to increase girls and women's confidence in themselves and everything they do. During the Super Bowl always released their "like a girl" campaign.The campaign inspired girls and women to do things with a positive "like a girl" outlook. Without doves campaign, many believe that the change in advertising towards women's confidence would have not had as much impact on the messages that ads are giving off today.
