College & Career
4th period English I
Texas of A&M
Texas A&M has been my number one favorite college. My aunt went to Texas A&M and told me so many great things about it. She still attends to it and still tells me the freat things that happen. Texas A&M stands for Texas agricultural and mechanical. It has about 50,000 students and 5,200 acres or more. They have so many traditions every year. The university underwent on many changes in 1960s. Since that time Texas A&M has flourished and has become one of the nation's premier research universities.
In Texas a&m they have a popular tradition called the 12th man. This tradition is celebrated every year. On Jan.2,1922 the Texas A&M had a football game and one of there football players got in the field injured. Coach Bible had remembered that a one of his sophomore player ( E. King Gill) was sitting in the press box helping identify players on the field. The coach had called him down and told him to suit up. E. King Gill was standing next to Coach Bible for the rest of the game, ready to play but he never got called out. Up to today Aggies stand at all football games or basketball games for the kickoff.
Long Term Goals
My career in life is to be a nurse. The reason I choose to be a nurse is because I care for others health. I would love to save lives and change peoples lives. I don't like people being injured, sick, or having medical problems. If one of my family member was hurt or sick I would like for someone with experience to take care of my sibling. Save their life.
Also being a nurse you can experience new things. I want others to be in good health and live longer. Others should be healthy and happy with there health. No one would want to be sick or injured for there rest of their lives. So why not make their life better by getting them in a good health.
