Three Steps to a Beautiful Life

Sometimes we make life harder than it has to be. Sure we all struggle at times. Some are small little bumps in road, some are devastating tragedies. If you do these three things everyday and your life will be just a little more beautiful.

1. Help someone. Open a door, buy a stranger a cup of coffee, sit and talk with an elderly person. Acts of kindness create a chemical reaction in the brain that causes you to be happy. Ok, I made that up. But you'll feel good inside when you do something nice for others.

2. Compliment someone. It's free and easy to say… "good job!" but for some reason we don't dole out praise as often as we should. Telling someone that they were great instills confidence. They walk a little taller and smile a little more. Making others feel good about themselves makes you feel good about you.

3. Hug someone. Whether it's your spouse, children, friend, or someone else, take time to hug them and tell them how much they mean to you… how much you love them. I'm not necessarily talking about LOVE love but rather the human love that we should all show toward each other. The response you'll get will energize you and make you smile.

So there you have it. Do these three things everyday and I guarantee that you will feel better and your life will become more beautiful.
