The Pueblo Indians live in the southeast part of the United States.  They live in a warm desert like climate.  Long ago many of the Pueblos lived in multi-story buildings made out of adobe bricks.  The Pueblo Indians are known for their beautiful pottery.

Shelter

The Pueblo Indians built multi-leveled homes from adobe bricks and mud.  Their buildings looked like large apartment buildings.  Ladders were needed to reach the homes at the top of the building.  

Transportation

The Pueblo Indians rode horses and walked as a means of transportation.  The men sometimes rode horses and the women always walked.
