Heat Transfers

One of the heat transfer is Radiation. Radiation is the transfer of heat through electromagnetic waves that move through space. In radiation you are not touching the thing but it can still warm you up. Example is when a stove is transferring heat to a pot(shown below), as you see your hand will not touch the fire but it is still heating you hand up. As you see the pot is not touching the object but it is still transferring heat to the cold object.

The second is Conduction. Conduction is the transfer of heat from one object to another this heat transfer is when you are touching the object. Example if you touch the end of a pot and it is hot it is conduction(as shown below)because the heat from the pot is transferring heat to your hand. As you can see conduction is the transfer of heat when you are touching the object.

Last one but not least Convection. Convection is the transfer of heat through a liquid or gas. Example is boiling water and the liquid is turning into a gas(as shown below)because the heat from the stove is boiling the liquid to a gas. As you see convection is anything dealing with heat, liquid, or gas.
