Different Diseases

1. Genetics -    A disease caused by an abnormality in ones DNA. A disease caused from genetics is sickle cell anemia. Sickle cell anemia is a group of disorders that cause red blood cells to become misshapen and break down. Sickle cell anemia is caused by an inherited abnormal hemoglobin. The disease is not curable but it is treatable. People with the disease take's morphine by mouth (Avinza) or by injection (Duramorph). People with sickle cell anemia have the symptoms of pain in the bones or joints and can be sudden in the chest, fever, malaise, dehydration, low oxygen in the body, dizziness, or fatigue in the body.

2. Environmental-   Diseases that can be directly attributed to environmental factors.  A disease caused from environmental is asthma. Asthma is a condition in which breathing is difficult. Asthma can also be a genetics disease. It is caused by cold air, smoke, pollen, cold air, and some medications. Asthma is not curable but its treatable and you can take medication and treatments to improve on asthma attacks.

3. Lifestyle choices -   Disease that is associated with the way a person lives. A type of lifestyle choice disease is lung cancer. Lung cancer is a cancer that begins in the lungs and most often occurs in people who smoke. Smoking is the main cause of lung cancer. Breathing in other people's smoke increases the chances of lung cancer. Lung cancer is not curable but it is treatable. Medications are Ifosfamide (Ifex), Irinotecan, Gemcitabine (Gemzar), Topotecan, Etoposide (Toposar), Pemetrexed, Docetaxel (Docefrez), Cisplatin (Platinol-AQ), Carboplatin, Vinblastine, Doxorubicin (Adriamycin), Paclitaxel (Taxol). Symptoms are weakness, loss of appetite, or fatigue.
