the general culture or identity of Australia is seen by most people as being a very laid back and kind sort of people. I think that this is an accurate assumption or stereotype about Australians because we are just a down to earth people. in the last 5 years the culture of Australians has started to change a bit in the way that the type of people have changed from being a very friendly and relaxed to being a more self involved people due to the progress in technology. for example most people have a smart phone and spend large parts of the day using them.
the general thought about the identity of the Australian people and how they act I think is from things like movies such as Crocodile Dundee that are very famous around the world. because of this Australians tend to get the stereotype of being very modest, hard working and that we all live in the outback and are very friendly.
