Jean Piaget

Cognitive is the study of how we process, store, retrieve, and use information and how the thought processes influences our behavior. Jean Piaget is important to psychology because he said that children don't think the same as adults. The main focus is on the mental processes that affect the behavior. The processes are attention, memory, perception, language, and metacognition. The term cognition refers to the processes that are transformed, reduced, elaborated, stored, recovered, and used.
