### geometry project!

A polygon is a figure with three or more sides and each side equals 180 degrees. A equilateral triangle is a polygon that has reflectional symmetry and rotational symmetry. A triangle is commonly used in building because it is hard to collapse and buckle. There are convex polygons such as a pentagon because the interior angles are less than 180 degrees. We also did a tesselation game on the computer which is tiling because the pattern has to repeat. A example of a concave polygon is a star because it has interior angles greater than 180 degrees. Every polygon has exterior angles unless nit is not closed in. There are transversal lines and vertical angles transversal has vertical angles because two lines are crossed by another so they have vertical angles. There are regular and irregular polygons, regular polygon has all equal side lengths and a irregular polygon doesn't. A square can rotate (rotation) because it has two pairs of parallel sides. A 45 degree angle can be complementary angles if they are beside each other because it equals out to 90 degrees. Two 90 degree angles can be supplementary angles if they were beside each other because it equals to 180 degrees.
