  • In the pueblo corn and beans were the most important foods during the Pueblo I period. People also continued to grow squash.People during the Pueblo I period continued to hunt wild animals and gather wild plants.Archaeologist have found evidence that people hunted so many animals and gathered so many plants that these wild resources became scarce. This was especially true around the large villages.
  • There climate was hat and dry. Nobody could fish there or make that place cool or warm because it was like a dessert.The climate was very warm and humid around northern Arizona.
    Ancient Pueblo People, or Ancestral Puebloans is a preferred term for the cultural group of people often known as Anasazi who are the ancestors of the modern Pueblo peoples. The ancestral Puebloans were a prehistoric Native American civilization centered around the present-day Four Corners area of the Southwest United States.
