The master craftsmen
From 10th to 12th century on central Mexico the toltecs formed a number of small states of various ethnic origins into an empire. They introduced the cult of Quetzalcóatl and influenced military the Yucatán region. They were noted as builders and craftsmen; artifacts include fine metalwork, gigantic statues, and carved human and animal standard-bearers. They were succeeded by the Aztec.
there legacy was that they had amazing building skills,and they still remain today Toltec period as a golden era when such wonders as writing, medicine, and metallurgy were invented.
