In session one we learned the different cells in the body. on top of that we took a stress and body health test. then we learned about how our habits effect us, and learned about antibody .
In session 2 we learned more about antibody and discovered hoe antigens play a key role in stopping infection. Then we did an experiment on how infections spread within a community.
in session 3 we learned about the many parts of a microscope and got to use the microscope for the firs time in the session. we also learned how to use the microscope through the computer.
In session 4 we learned of the diseases that threaten us in today world, like ma lira and aids. We also took a health quiz to check how likely we could fall for one of these diseases.
In session 5 we learned how natural disasters can help spread disease and fungi. we learned of ways to treat some diseases, and to prevent them.
IN session 6 we learned even more of how to treat diseases, and how vaccines help.we researched some diseases and learned how we could treat them as well. we even researched what is being done today in medical research.
In our final session we learned even more about vaccines and diseases, then researched how to treat other types like fungi. At the end of the session we reminisced on what we did this rotation.
going along the careers in this line , some of the more notable or sought after jobs include working at the CDC preventing disease, or even a doctor. but the main one you will find to be in need is a bioligist. one who studies disease as such.
