                                                   Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever

     The Ebola virus is spread through contact of blood or body fluids, such as feces or vomit from an infected person or animal. The main animal you can get it from is Fruit Bats.

     There are currently five known subtypes of Ebola. The first strain to be identified is known as the Zaire strain and is widely considered the deadliest form of the virus. In the current outbreak in West Africa.

                                               Symptoms of Ebola

  • Nausea and vomiting.
  • Diarrhea (may be bloody)
  • Red eyes.
  • Raised rash.
  • Chest pain and cough.
  • Stomach pain.
  • Severe weight loss.
  • Bleeding, usually from the eyes, and bruising (people near death may bleed from other orifices, such as ears, nose and rectum)

There are no treatments for the human body. But, there maybe a treatment cure for the Ebola virus for monkeys in Canada.

Ebola was first discovered in 1976 by Peter Piot it infected around 300 people and spread throughout parts of Yambuku, Zaire.
