My Garden Journal

April 04, 2014:

It’s Friday! For most office workers they would definitely agree with me when I say, “Thank God It’s Friday or TGIF”. Indeed Friday is one of the favorite days of some workers for it's the closest to weekend. As for me everyday is Friday. I have the luxury of planning my day the way I want it to be for I work at home. It’s one of the pleasures of being a stay at home person. I can schedule my time in my own pace. I don't have to follow the strict 8-5 hrs working time. I don't have to rush and experience the traffic early in the morning or be stock in long waiting for the afternoon ride going home.

One of the pleasures I get as work at home is having the time to tend my flower garden. I love watering my plants and seeing them grow fast and healthy. Just like today I am rewarded by finding some beautiful fuchsia pink roses just outside our fence. It made me smile. It made my gardening time worthwhile.

As I roam around our house hoping to discover more treats, I am once again rewarded with a beautiful sight. Just outside our side-gate is our double Rangoon creeper cascading in all her glory. Looking at it and smelling its sweet fragrance take my breath away. Life is so good. I feel so blessed by God. It's like I can hear Him say, "I made them all for you. You can have all your hearts desire. I love you." With this in my mind, I can't help myself smiling while saying a big "Thank you, Lord! I love you, too."

With so much happiness in my heart I decided to capture this moment so I get my camera and fire away. I find myself taking pictures of some plants that are blooming in my garden today. The little surprises along the way make my quest so much fun! I'm so glad I have all the time in the world. Working at home is the best decision I've ever made. :)
