God is your carpenter
I believe in the power of a ball and a racket,
the love of God,
the freedom of all people,
the power of friends,
the peace of nature,
But I don’t believe in hatred toward people.
I believe in supporting whats good,
I believe in being original,
I believe in a good education,
life is good, stay bold, always do good,
And I believe in the power marching band has on me.
Words I live by
My personal credo is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you” says he lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Ever since I was a baby I have always went to church. Ever since I could talk and read I have always had a bible verse that I really liked. The verse that I have told you hasn’t always been my favorite, but now that I’m older I know what a lot of other different verses and quotes mean, and the first time that I read this verses it gave me peace of mind. And ever since then I have always loved this verse. In addition, I think it is important to stick with these beliefs because whenever you get into a situation where you feel that you have done something wrong or someone wants you to do wrong, personally what I would do is take a look at the quotes or like me scripture and see what you think the meaning is and see if it helps your situation.
However, I think my credo will change because when you get older you have more knowledge and that could easily make you have more beliefs in the future. Also if you don’t have anymore beliefs then you can learn from your past and present mistakes because we make mistakes everyday. Another way that you can get more beliefs is to listen to the advice that your elders say and why your parents say, because they are older. I hope this helps you, but I can’t tell you beliefs that I think will benefit you later, you have to make that decision yourself. The way that I can see my credo evolving is because I know that I will have more scripture in the future because my knowledge will be more vast, and it will help me understand more than what I do now. An event that might change it would be going to college and getting a better education than what I’m getting in High School. My credo will help shape my future because every time I get into a bad situation I will come back to these situations or even when I’m struggling with something and that will make me stronger and I will keep getting stronger.
My credo is definitely significant because of the scripture and their meanings, because they have a powerful meaning to me and in the present and future I think it will help me. I don’t think I would want to charge anyone to read my credo because of the message that I receive when I read, I just want everyone to get the same out of it that I do. It would be very beneficial if people would read my credo because they need to hear what my beliefs are and see if they can relate to any of mine, or if they get something out of my credo not by relating to it.
