                             Plague:

You wake up to find yourself in a field full of all different kinds of animals. You don't know how you got there, or why. The cries of creatures are caught in your ear. Smoke comes from a nearby mountain. You realize you were Teleported to the time, of Ash Falls.

                       What Is Ash Falls?

You might wonder, what is Ash Falls? How did it come to be? Why? Well, here is the story.......

Animals had roamed Nebraska for years now, until a volcano erupted and spread ash across the land. Because of the eruption,  animals started to die. They had no air to breathe because the air was full of ash. The small animals died first, because of their small lungs. Once they were full of ash they died. So the bigger creatures survived longer, but once they were gone, there were no animals left in the area.

Because of the eruption, animals started to die.

The discovery of this event was found by Michael Voorhies in 1971. The paleontologist  was walking with his wife through some gullies in northeastern Nebraska. He wanted to learn about the creeks there. Just then he saw something sticking out of the side of the gully, something white surrounded by ash. He. Identified it as a baby rhinos skull. Six years later he gathered a crew and they dug up what is Ash Falls today.
