Horse Judging

Want to become a horse judge? The first step is to apply for a learner judge permit. You will need pay a small application fee of $60 and submit a detailed resume describing your horse related experience (the more schooling/ horse judging jobs you can list the better.) An AHSA subcommittee will review your application and decide whether you are qualified. The leaner judge permit take approximately three years to complete. After those three years, you can apply for your "r" license, this screening process is even more complex; it requires another application fee of $125.
